Dr. Knox Hilliard
Knox has worked at Houston Veterinary Clinic throughout the summers during high school (Warner Robins High School class of 2006) and college. He started as a full time associate veterinarian in June 2015. He graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in 2010, and from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After graduating, he completed a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Knox then returned back home to the family practice where he has worked since. He is married to his wife, Dana, and has three children.


Dr. James Hilliard Jr.
Dr. Hilliard founded Houston Veterinary Clinic in 1979, building on years of dedicated veterinary practice that began long before. A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, he’s a passionate Georgia Bulldogs fan who has visited every stadium in the SEC. He shares his life with his wife, Barbara, and is a devoted father to three grown children and grandfather to four grandchildren.

Our facilities are modern and easily accessible with separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs and climate-controlled boarding facilities.

Jenna L., RVTg
Jenna is our practice manager and lead technician on staff. She has over 7 years of emergency and critical care experience. Her hobbies include showing quarter horses and learning to rope cows. She also obsessed with reading books and enjoys spending time outdoors. Jenna also is very active in church and wants to tell others about the love of Jesus.

Dana H.
Dana is our Office Administrator. She works part time in reception as well as doing other things around the clinic. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s and Master's in Early Childhood Education. Dana currently teaches part time when she is not at our clinic. She enjoys talking to clients and meeting their sweet animals. Dana has two dogs that she adores. She is married to Dr. Knox and they have three children.

Angel B.
Angel has been with our clinic since 2020. She is veterinary tech and has been a vital part of our staff. She has two dogs named Benji and Saint, and two cats named Ululo and Creamsicle.

Dallas C.
Dallas has over 10 years of experience and loves what she does. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies, gardening, reading books, spending time with her boyfriend and family.

Keeleigh J., RVTg
Keeleigh has been with HVC since 2021. She knew veterinary medicine was her future after discovering a passion for animals at a young age. Keeleigh graduated from Fort Valley State University in 2024 with her degree in Veterinary Technology. She plans to continue her career here at HVC. Her hobbies include spending time with her friends, family, and her dog Blue.

Kat G.
Kat is one of our vet techs. She has over 8 years of emergency and critical care experience. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family.

MaeLynn D.
MaeLynn started working at HVC in June of 2023. She is currently attending FVSU working towards her veterinary technician degree. MaeLynn plans to become a veterinarian one day. She has always had a love for animals and would do anything to help them feel good. She has a dog named Gypsie and loves her with her entire heart.

hANNAH s.
Hannah started at HVC in February of 2024. She has plans to go to CGTC to follow her dreams of becoming an ultrasound technician. She has always had a love for animals. Hannah even grew up rescuing animals whenever she could. At home, she has 4 cats and 2 dogs that she cares for deeply.

Savannah C.
Savannah is our newest kennel tech. She is currently attending FVSU working towards her veterinary technician degree. Her plan is to get her degree and continue working as a veterinary technician at HVC.

Emily A.
Emily has been in veterinary medicine since 2015. She is one of our talented receptionists. Emily enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her son, Lennon and daughter Eleanor. She has two dogs named Sassy and Milton.
